Once you have created a church profile or confirmed that the data online is correct, please complete the following steps:

1. Establish yourself or a church leader as the person responsible for commissioning.
2. Agree to our Statement of Faith.
3. When requested by each Chaplain applicant, consider their request for commissioning and, if appropriate, grant your approval.
4. Follow whatever procedure is used in your church to empower and bless those who have chosen a special ministry field on behalf of your congregation.
5. Submit your approval by carefully reviewing and agreeing to the intent of the Pastor Commissioning Statement.

Community Chaplains of America will notify your church and the approved Community Chaplain that we have received and processed your recommendation and the applicant is authorized to proceed to become a member.
