Can I serve as a Community Chaplain where I work?
Yes, there are many opportunities to serve businesses in your community, including where you work. Some companies will encourage a Community Chaplain to serve fellow employees in this capacity in much the same way they support other outreach activities including building houses, donating time and goods to charities or allowing employees time off to participate in community activities.

Should I ask a friend, neighbor or relative if I can be a Community Chaplain where they work?
Absolutely! We believe that referrals, or knowing someone in a company that is very interested in what you do, can be very effective in getting your message to their management. Remember, your mission is to gain permission to share the life-changing Good news of Jesus Christ in a non-threatening manner.

What should I do if I am asked to stop serving as a Community Chaplain at a business?
This could certainly happen if there is a change in management or philosophy at the business. Be prepared to move on and serve elsewhere, but keep in touch with those employees who were encouraged by your ministry. They probably belong to a sports team, service club or other organization that would benefit from your desire to serve.
