Community Chaplains of America Welcomes Partners

June 01, 2007 - We are pleased to announce that the North American Mission Board headquartered in Atlanta, GA and Crossroads Fellowship in Raleigh, NC have partnered with Community Chaplains of America to use the Community Chaplain Empowerment Kit materials and the web site access to help provide beta testing of this exciting new Community Chaplain program.

The members of these two groups will be using the Community Chaplain Handbook, Community Chaplain Training Workbook, Empowerment Audio Series and other kit material in their community outreach programs and adult Sunday school classes. CCA President and founder Mark Cress has said that these relationships are invaluable to our new ministry and will assist us in making ongoing enhancements and additions to our selection of printed, audio and video materials.

The use of these materials, the commissioning process and the interdynamics between members of the groups provides all of us with the feedback and knowledge that will grow this program to its full potential. These two groups will also have private member access to discussion boards, community activities, prayer support, chaplain contacts and many other resource materials which will allow for the building of a true web based ‘community’ of like minded, Christ centered care givers.
